Taking Your Book from Thought to Bought

Do you have a book you want to write? Have you started a book but not finished it? Do you feel anxious about approaching publishers or agents? Only 3% of writers who start a book complete it, and only 1% to 2% of writers who complete a book have it accepted for publication. These are tough odds, so to work within them, writers need realistic strategies. Andrew Doty and Dana Delibovi will share their real-life experience with these strategies, which they used in taking Dana’s book from concept to contract with a publisher. This one-hour talk, with ample time for sharing and questions, is designed to help you bring your book from planned to published.

This event will be livestreamed by St. Louis County Library. Registration coming soon.
